What has been your educational highlight during your time at Emory Law?
Recipient of the BLSA 1 L Scholarship Award which was given to those that exuded academic excellence and community and professional involvement.
How has the Tiger Program helped you/what do you plan to get out of the Tiger program?
I plan on learning so much from Tl:GER! When first reading about Emory, the Tl:GER program stood out to me because it presented the idea of working as a team with others from different professions providing an intersection of law, business, and technology innovation. I hope to learn more about commercialization, product development, and all details of pursuing these projects from the ground up.
Why did you choose Emory Law School?
I chose Emory for a few reasons: (1) To push myself out of my comfort zone of being so far away from home, and when picking the city of Atlanta, it is somewhat similar to Dallas; (2) During my tour, I was able to meet up with students and get to know more about them and I really felt the camaraderie and support that the school provides; and (3) Because Emory had so many opportunities for pursuing experiential learning classes which I think are very useful and essential to the law school curriculum to help prepare students when going into their careers after graduation.
What are some fun facts about you?
I got to help emcee an Eli Young Band Concert held at the University of North Texas in Apogee stadium. So fun!
